Mô tả công việc
• Handling of customer complaints in an efficient and proactive manner
• Ensure Lobby and working area is always immaculate
• Meeting and exceeding guest expectations and confident
• Updating the shift diary during and at the end of shift detailing all important activities carried out
• Cash handling which includes currency exchange and balancing a float
• Maintain accurate records of daily transactions
• Become familiar with group resumes ensuring all details of incoming and outgoing groups are observed
• Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of guest amenities and ensuring the security of our guests and their possessions
• Assisting guests with requests and memorable experiences by sharing your hotel and local knowledge
• Daily liaison with inter departments such as food & beverage and housekeeping for guest movements, requests, and activities
• Well- groomed and presented in line with hotel policy
• Be responsible for completing a wide variety of front office tasks assigned by Front Office Management team
• Understand and demonstrate correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy and Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs)
• Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up- selling and by monitoring rooms&039; inventory to assist in maximizing rooms&039; revenue
•Welcoming guests to the hotel whilst providing prompt, courteous and efficient check in and check out throughout their stay
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights, and public holidays and as such assist in the general running of the hotel at night including assisting other departments
Yêu cầu
Experience
• Minimum of two years in similar capacity
• Familiar with Front Office activities as well as hotel operations in general
Skills and Knowledge
• The ability to work under pressure, multitask and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues is required
• Computer literate with strong knowledge on Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office
• Able to handle enquiries and to take and fulfill detailed instructions
• Proficient in English, oral and written and can converse with guests and fellow employees
• Experience on Bravo PMS is an advantage but not essential
• Fluency in additional languages (Korean, Japanese or Chinese) is desirable but not essential
Education or Qualification:
• Certification or qualification in Tourism is an advantage
