Job description

1. HSE responsibility:

- HSE standard following: apply all required HSE standard/requirement of Vesuvius corporation for the responsible working area, tool and subcontractor people.

- PPE effective control: manage strictly the using as well as inventory of PPE without wasting

- Conduct daily Tool Box Meeting with records issued to Section Head / HSE officer.

- Target control LTI / MTI as per Vesuvius global standard

- GSA: must be passed as per global requirement

2. Production control

- Plan, monitor and control daily work to ensure production plan of customer at the agreed quality with the best cost efficiency.

- Supervise and monitoring to ensure correct installation practice carry out by installation team.

- Monitoring and maintenance for refractory installation equipment.

- Prepare and update time sheet for installation team.

- Prepare, review and update WI for standard and safety works.

3. Technical support to M&T, SCM, and other departments

- Monitoring and collect trial, incident, refractory performance and production information for analysis and reporting.

- Update and issue SOP, SWI for suitable work at site.

4. Subcontractor management

- Ensure all subcontractor persons working in the responsible area follow regulation and standard of Customer and Vesuvius with all aspects HSE and daily work.

- Give training to site operators or installers.

- Monitoring, facilitate and report about safety, 5S, for all activities at site.

5. Material, Equipment and Spare part control.

- Provide information for MRP to ensure the efficiency of inventory control.

- Follow and update actual consumption and remain stock every month.

- Compare remain stock with MRP quantity to make order material soon.

- Monitor refractory performance, and control refractory consumption and material issuing

- Control performance and maintenance of machineries & equipment to ensure smooth operation. Ensure no broken/out-of-order equipment impact to production process.

- Ensure the efficient usage of tools & spare parts. Report monthly of consumption to Section Head.

Yêu cầu

- Bachelor degree or College degree in Metallurgical engineering/ Materials Science/ Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering or related field

- 1-2 years’ working experience in project base, mechanical work or general heavy industries. Open for fresh graduates.

- Knowledge about refractory and/or steel making is plus

- Good English communication is preferred

- Good Excel/Word, email & reporting skill

- Installation and/or supervision skills

- Energetic, displays leadership, decision making, strategic thinking, self-motivated, able to work independently, good analytical skills and eager to change and improve.

- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast paced and changing working environment.

- Handle customer complaints

- Working in shift required
