Job Description

* Definition of the job: 
A Supply Chain Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing every stage of an organization's supply chain, from purchasing raw materials to production. They must ensure that products arrive at the right time and coordinate storage to prevent loss or damage throughout the complex process.

* Position responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a cost-efficient supply chain to satisfy customer demand in quantity, service, and on-time deliveries.
  2. Ensure operational metrics are fulfilled: OTD (% Service Rate), Sales Backlog Delay (kEUR), Inventory ATR, Stock Days, Logistics Cost (% Sales), Delivery Sales, % Sales Achievement.
  3. Coordinate project handovers with the purchasing and sourcing departments smoothly to meet customer SOP and ramp-up after industrialization.
  4. Develop and maintain supplier relationships for mass production. Keep suppliers updated and maintain a healthy relationship with all of them, with a risk-sharing-oriented mindset in which both customer and supplier take committed risks and responsibilities.
  5. Lead the enhancement and improvement of logistics conditions as a service. Develop new suppliers and expand the logistics network of the factory.
  6. Monitor materials storage, handling, identification, and traceability.
  7. Perform all responsibilities of hierarchical positions according to the approved organization chart.
  8. Manage demand analysis and management, customer program validation, and fulfillment audits.
  9. Conduct logistics protocol definition in handover with the sales department.
  10. . Handle chargeback activity leadership/escalation if needed.
  11. . Monitor supplier OTD, capacity, and overview.
  12. . Perform all responsibilities of hierarchical positions according to the approved organization chart of Premo Vietnam.

A Supply Chain Manager demonstrate strong capabilities in managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including:

  • Risk, Inventory, and Resource Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks while optimizing inventory levels and resource allocation.
  • Supplier and Transportation Management: Build and maintain effective supplier relationships and ensure efficient transportation of goods.
  • Production and Warehouse Planning: Oversee production schedules and warehouse operations to support continuous flow and minimize delays.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Monitor supply chain expenses and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or delivery.
  • Order Cycle and Lead Time Management: Streamline order processing and reduce lead times to meet customer expectations.
  • Demand and Time Management: Align supply with forecasted demand and manage time effectively to ensure timely decision-making and task execution.

Requirement(s)

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Business Management, International Trade or other related fields
- Experience: At least 3-5 years at supervisor or 1-2 years at manager level in same industry
