Job Description

* Definition of the job: 

Production planning officers analyze demand forecasts to determine how to meet product demand using current inventory and future manufacturing. They assess the company's capacity to meet this demand, considering various limitations and potential constraints. Collaborating with operations and procurement teams, they ensure sufficient capacity and materials to support the supply plan. Additionally, they maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing supply chain costs and maximizing efficiency.

* Position responsibilities:

• Weekly Supply Analysis: Prepare input for weekly reports on supply and demand.
• Planning: Develop short-term and long-term production plans to align with resources and avoid excess stock.
• Order Management: Create and reschedule production and plan orders in SAP.
• Coordination: Work with procurement to ensure material availability.
• MRP & MPS Management: Maintain clean Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and control Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Customer Communication: Coordinate with customer planning for short and long-term plans.
• Production Monitoring: Track semi-finished and finished product rotation, and monitor production output.
• Sub-contractor Management: Oversee sub-contractors for production planning.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project teams for sample planning.
• Detailed Planning: Provide detailed plans to production and quality teams, and discuss arrangements to maximize output.
• Daily Follow-up: Address production line issues and prepare backup plans.
• Reporting: Report monthly confirmation rates and weekly production fulfillment.
• Other Tasks: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Planning Supervisor.

Requirement(s)

•  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Business Management, International Trade or other related fields
•  Experience: at least 1 year experiences in similar position
• Competencies: Production Planning management, Lead Time and Order Cycle Time Management, SAP, Zoho Analytics, Risk Management, Inventory Management
•  Attitude and traits: Proactive, Integrity, Disciplined, Meticulous/Careful
