Job Description
***Please note that this position is being recruited as a temporary replacement for an employee on maternity leave, with a working period of 7 months.
* Definition of the job:
Procurement officers manage inventories and ensure that material resources are consistent with production schedules. His/her responsibilities include maintaining inventory schedules, coordinating with internal departments to achieve targets, and managing external stakeholder relations.

* Position responsibilities:
- Material Planning & Purchasing: Plan required materials, generate purchase orders, and ensure materials meet specifications, quality standards, and cost requirements.
- Supply Management: Ensure a consistent and adequate supply of materials for production, manage inventory, and handle schedule changes and cancellations.
- Supplier Relations: Maintain relationships with suppliers and distributors, follow up on claims or chargebacks due to delivery delays or quality issues, and evaluate supplier service rates.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics staff to arrange shipments, optimize transport costs, and ensure no shipment issues or extra costs.
- Project Management: Handle the transition of projects into mass production.
- Documentation & Finance: Prepare invoices and packing lists for customs clearance, follow up with logistics, and prepare payment documents for finance.
- MRP Maintenance: Ensure clean Material Requirements Planning (MRP) with no pending or outdated purchase requests/orders.
- Reporting: Record on-time delivery of suppliers and perform other tasks as assigned by the Procurement & Logistic Supervisor
Requirement(s)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Business Management, International Trade or other related fields
- Experience: at least 1 year experiences in similar position
- Competencies: Inventory/Supplier Management, English, Microsoft Office Package, Communication, Team Work and Collaboration, Logical Thinking, Attention to Details
- Attitude and traits: Proactive, Integrity, Disciplined, Meticulous/Careful
