Job Description

• Definition of the job:
• Customer Planning Officers work closely with customers and sales teams to devise accurate forecasts. They regularly monitor trends and consumer behavior to create precise forecasts for each product, product line, or service. They also coordinate with key players along the supply chain to ensure timely deliveries to customers.
• Position responsibilities:
• Manage the demand upload of parts in mass production (for customers assigned by managers).
• Manage exceptions in the system.
• Communicate with customers in case of demand changes to get feedback and introduce precise forecasts into the system.
• Ensure service rate (% on-time delivery) for customers.
• Follow up with production planning to ensure orders are fixed.
• Provide delivery plans for customers and follow up with production planning to commit to the delivery plan.
• Provide forecast delivery and sales of the plants.
• Manage delivery (release delivery note) of production in SAP.
• Arrange delivery schedules to optimize shipping costs (coordinating with Logistics).
• Coordinate with Quality and Finance teams for return deliveries/credit notes.
• Provide demand forecasts to Production Planning for precise review and planning.
• Report monthly on-time delivery (OTD) and explanations for delays.
• Prepare reports and perform other tasks assigned by the Planning Supervisor.

Requirement(s)

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Business Management, International Trade or other related fields
• Experience: at least 1 year experiences in similar position
• Competencies: Lead Time and Order Cycle Time Management, SAP, Zoho Analytics, Risk Management, Inventory Management, Customer Focus
• Attitude and traits: Proactive, Integrity, Disciplined, Meticulous/Careful
