Job Description

  • Lead the development of vehicle electrical and electronic architecture, E/E systems, and smart vehicle systems in accordance with product requirements and technology roadmap.
  • Define engineering requirements, technical specifications, design standards, and performance targets for vehicle E/E systems and smart vehicle systems.
  • Take technical ownership of key systems, including Body Electronics, Chassis Electronics, in-vehicle communication networks, Wiring Harness, and related intelligent vehicle systems.
  • Control quality, cost, and development targets for E/E systems and smart vehicle systems.
  • Support prototype build, testing, trial production, issue resolution, and post-SOP problem solving for mass-production products.
  • Research, update, and propose the application of new technologies in vehicle E/E and smart vehicle systems, including Zonal/Domain E/E Architecture, Automotive Ethernet, OTA, Gateway, Domain Controller, ADAS, vehicle connectivity, automotive Cybersecurity, data collection and analysis capability development; provide technical guidance, training, and competency development for engineering teams; participate in building technical standards, processes, and the technology development roadmap for the R&D Center.

Requirement(s)

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Automotive Electronics, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive electrical and electronic system development.
  • Experience working in foreign automotive corporations/groups is preferred, especially from China, Germany, Japan, Korea, etc.
  • Age & Health:
  • From 35 to 45 years old.
  • Good health condition.

  • Proactive, creative, able to work under pressure, with a continuous improvement mindset and strong quality orientation.
  • Leadership & Management Competency:
  • Strong system thinking and cross-functional integration capability;
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and guide engineering teams.
  • Strong capability in technical analysis, problem solving, and decision making.
  • Professional Competency, Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of vehicle E/E Architecture.
  • Solid knowledge of Body Electronics, Chassis Electronics, CAN/LIN/FlexRay/Ethernet Automotive communication networks.
  • Good knowledge of Wiring Harness, power distribution, and power management systems.
  • Strong understanding of automotive product development process according to APQP, DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T, PPAP, and V-Model.
  • Good knowledge of Functional Safety ISO 26262, Automotive Cybersecurity ISO/SAE 21434, UDS diagnostics, AUTOSAR, and relevant international standards.
  • Experience in system integration, testing, validation, and reliability assessment of E/E systems.
  • Strong understanding of DFMEA, DVP&R, APQP, GD&T, and automotive product development processes.
  • Proficient in automotive E/E system design and development tools such as Capital, Zuken, CATIA Electrical, CANoe, or equivalent.
